About Alexander
Alexander is an internationally recognized Artist and Director, and has been working as a Professional Creative for the last two decades.
With a background in production, commercial photography, and specialising in portraiture, Alexander has taken the portraits of international industry leaders, influential cultural luminaries, and directed for international campaigns.
He has taught at The Chicago Photography Center, as well as served on their Board.
Shortlisted for the Carmignac Photojournalism Award, Quoted in the Chicago Tribune for his opinions on Politics and Protest, featured in Propublica, Culture trip, Visura, Reuters’ photos of the month, the front page of Chicago Sun Times, the Apa Artist's perspective gallery, and contributed to the Peter Lisagor Award winning piece “The people rose up: a Black summer 2020 timeline” as well as the Margaret McNamara photo awards.
Alexander’s newest project, started in 2022, has been featured in: Broad Magazine, Float Magazine, APA, Photo Vogue, The Hand Magazine, The Curated Fridge, SE Center for Photography - Open, Analog Forever Magazine, Lenscratch’s Mother, LensCulture’s Critics’ Choice Competition, Art Awards, and Emerging Talents Gallery, The Griffin Museum for photography, As well as a Honourable Mention & Official Selection in the Both the the Spider Awards, and International Photography Awards.
Alexander is currently a Commercial Art Director and Editorial Photographer
